ABOUT
The Company was originally incorporated in 1988, under the name of Mathis & Sons, Inc. for the purpose of General Contracting in the city of Louisville, Kentucky for commercial construction. Immediately, the Company was certified by the City of Louisville as a Minority Business Enterprise, later to receive national MBE, WBE, DBE certifications, along with an 8(a) certification from the U.S. Small Business Administration. In the mid 90's, the Company landed its first large, federally funded, high profile project, Park DuValle Phase I - V. A unique, high profile project for the city that was a first in many facets. Here is where we first learned the needed skills to manage a project of that magnitude along with the true value of minority and local participation, as a seller and buyer in the construction industry. The hands on approach has been our approach for over 25 years with proven success.
